On Friday the 5th April, Sandra Lee was crowned Ms Australia and has won the privilege to represent her country in the USA for the International finals. Sandra also picked up the Miss Friendship award after being nominated by her peers.

It has been a fast paced journey for Sandra who started in the MAQuest late by comparison.

Her entry was delayed as she had traveled to the Philippines on a charity mission for the local kids in orphanages. Sandra has always been quite passionate about her charity work and is always willing to contribute to and participate in worthwhile causes. On this trip, which was self funded, she visited the Precious Heritage Children’s Home between the 12th February and the 18th March to participate in activities and giving of food and toys to the orphaned children.  Every day she would buy food and then pack special bags before going out each night to feed the street children and stay with them through the early hours of the morning.

“My focus for 2013/14 will be on Ovarian Cancer awareness which I have big plans for in 2013″, says Sandra.

” I have an event I would like to launch called “Dance teal you drop” , for ovarian cancer awareness dance parties”.

The reference to Teal is ofcourse the MAQuest symbol of support being a teal ribbon.

We congratulate Sandra on her MAQuest success and proudly support her on her trip to the USA to represent Australia.
