The title of course went to Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez, however, a top 5 finish, and specifically 3rd Runner Up was a very impressive feat. Equally impressive and to her credit was Rachael’s win of the Swimsuit Category which is known as being critical for a  competition win.

“To be 4th place in the Universe has gone beyond all my expectations”, said Rachael graciously at the event, ” it is beyond all of my dreams and I am so grateful to be here!”

Rachael Finch is now poised at the helm of what experts consider is a multi-million dollar endorsement career. With offers already including Victoria’s Secret and numerous TV campaigns, Rachael, who demonstrated that she had the brains as well as the beauty, is following in the marketing prowess of former Australian Miss Universe winner Jennifer Hawkins!

Rachael remains characteristically level headed and gracious and is looking forward to returning home to her family.

” I just want to say thank you to everyone back home.” She said.

” Birds of a Feather Flock together ! ” Said Grant Dwyer from AdPro Management who nurtured and represented both Jennifer Hawkins and Rachael Finch to success. Grant also discovered and managed Lauryn Eagle (our Edition 18 Cover Girl), to win Miss Teen Australia 2004 and Miss Teen International 2004 and was referring to the `bird’ surnames (Hawk, Eagle & Finch).
