As our readers have no doubt guessed already, our theme for this edition is all about Glamour! More specifically, and in particular the gorgeous girls that call themselves Glamour Models!
There are so many glamour models around the world right now which is fantastic and god bless them all !
However it wasn’t always the case, and many girls found it difficult to get their break when the expectation was mainly centered around Fashion and the thin forms that style required.
To some degree, Swimsuit models were paving a path more familiar to the curvier girls and for the most part, also paved the way for Glamour modelling to commence.
Of course glamour is more than swimsuit and also includes lingerie, bling and special type of make-up mood, however this form of modelling gave rise to those voluptuous gorgeous girls that are now legends !
At the top of the list, and as a poster on every young man’s wall in the last decade, was the busty, beautiful and long legged Lucy Pinder !
Lucy is a Uk model who became famous after being discovered on an English beach by a freelance photographer in 2003.
She rose even further when she appeared topless for the first time in the Uk Lad’s Mag Nuts in 2007!
It was also around this time, that the Aussie Magazine Ralph declared that Lucy Pinder had the “Best Breasts in the World !”
A declaration that we tend to agree with whole-heartedly !
Of course it goes without saying that Lucy appeared in a miriad of “Sexiest Women in the World” lists, including – and not limited to – FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” from 2005 through to 2007 and then again in 2010.
We’re not sure what happened in 2008 and 2009 but we think FHM suffered from loss of vision!
Lucy also turned some attention to writing with a personal advise column in Nuts with the title “The Tuth about Women!”
TV began to beckon for Lucy’s attention and in 2004 she made an appearance on “I’m Famous & Frightened” which was a reality program filmed in a haunted castle.
Then there was a short time with Sky Sports for Soccer AM where she appeared as a celebrity soccerette in support of Southampton, and a short run in 2007 on an episode of “Weakest Link” called “Wags and Glamour Girls”.
For the next few years, Nuts TV kept Lucy busy with B (or less) grade TV where she presented a number of themes from bedtime reading to glamour photography.
In 2009, Lucy appeared on Celebrity Big Brother which brought her house-hold name type fame beyond the lad and men’s mags, and where she was the first to be voted out with 57% of the votes. She had declared her wish to leave as she was being driven nuts by the constant rapping of then startup star Coolio ! So she clearly had some influence over the audience!
In more recent times, Lucy is quite well known for her charity work mainly around supporting cats and dogs.
Lucy Pinder works regularly with Rhian Sugden and continues to support the MCAC (Male Cancer Awareness Campaign), and in fact they both took part in the five mile ‘London Strut’ awareness initiative in December 2013.
Lucy Pinder also supported the “Stars & Stripes 2014 Celebrity Auction” by donating an original drawing of hers that was auctioned off, with the proceeds going to Tiger Time.
Lucy remains one of the most glamorous models in our time! <
