2015 Ford Mustang GT @ SEMA

The 2015 Ford Mustang GT has been voted the Hottest Car at SEMA for the third year in a row. In doing so, the Mustang beat it’s perennial top rivals the Chevrolet Camaro and the Chrysler Dodge.

The 2015 Ford Mustang sales have exceeded the manufacturer’s expectations and according to Ford’s press `is a smashing success’!

And this isn’t just marketing hype as the car has already topped the 100,000 unit sold mark with two months left in the year. It has basically sold out in several global markets and has won awards from media outlets around the world.

So it’s no surprise that the Mustang also topped out at the SEMA.

Apparently the Ford Mustang GT is also a favorite with the Stig! Well, the old Stig .. Ben Collins, former Stig on Top Gear, has test driven the Ford Mustang GT in his new show by the BBC aptly titled ” Ben Collins: Stunt Driver!”

“The point of this adventure was to find the perfect car for an epic, high octane, Hollywood-style car chase, and it’s the iconic Ford Mustang that gets top billing,” Collins said. “Mustang has starred in many a classic car chase during the past 50 years, and is still the stunt driver’s weapon of choice to leave the bad guys standing in a cloud of tire smoke.”

The trailer for Ben’s Stunt Driver show is below which features the Mustang GT – SPOILER ALERT: – Without disclosing the full details, The Mustang GT ends up winning the driving competition !
