Kung Fury; A True Survivor
80’s icon David Hasselhoff performs “True Survivor”, which is the lead music video for the new film Kung Fury !
Kung Fury is an 80’s retro short film that was funded entirely by KickStarter where it became quite the sensation with it’s 80’s retro and `Who’s Bad?’ style !
Due for release on the 28th of May 2015 exclusively on Youtube, the film confesses to be an over-the-top action comedy written and directed by David Sandberg.
Kung Fury features a collection of mega cliche’s from the 80’s including arcade-robots, dinosaurs, Nazis, Vikings, Norse Gods, mutants and a super Kung Fu-cop called Kung Fury! All this wrapped up in what the film’s producers describe as an 80’s style action packed adventure.
If that’s not exciting enough, the 80’s cars, namely a glimpse at a Delorean referencing ‘Back to the Future’ and in particular the Lamborghini Countach (provided by Daniel Strid and Fredrik Palm ) in the lead role, are quite sexy !
