gets a great start to the season!

Friday’s early morning drizzle looked
as though it could ruin Stacey’s chance to scrub in her new rear tyre
for Saturday’s qualifier. A short lift in the weather saw her ready
for Saturday and eager to post her new found confidence and track speed
on an official time sheet…

• Qualifying 1: Fastest Lap 1:09
• Qualifying 2: Fastest Lap 1:08
• Race 1: Fastest Lap 1:08
  (Consistent 1:10’s)
• Race 2: Fastest Lap 1:08
  (Consistent 1:08’s)
• Race 3: Fastest Lap 1:09
  (Consistent 1:09’s)

In a much stronger field than last year
Stacey finished in a solid 13th position.

‘What a buzz! I smashed 4 seconds off
my best ‘official’ lap time here at Broadford. I believe it’s a
sign of things to come. Bring on Phillip Island!’ said Stacey.
