Eastern Creek, Sydney, November 19th, 2006 – A glorious Sydney sun shone brightly amid the thunder and lighting that was the 2006 SuperBike finals at Eastern Creek! Among the events of the day, that included the 125’s, the Naked Bikes (not what you think), SuperSport, SideCar and ofcourse Superbike, was the Formula Extreme that we at autobabes.com.au had the opportunity to sponsor into! Our congratulations to race legend Michael Fraser and his crew for the 1st place win in the Formula Extreme class with a personal best time of just over 1:35 minutes! “It’s a real honor to win this event and an awesome Suzuki bike”, said Mike graciously .. “my thanks to my team and my manager Robert fortheir support all year long!” And we also feel grateful as that bike carried our logo’s on either side! Spiro Cheretis, or SPIZZA to his mates, riding the yellow Honda bearing our logo and banners, was also a legend running a very consistent strategy and race all day long. Holding 32 points from a possible 38 at the time of racing, Spiro’s race strategy was to hold his consistency for better placement in next year’s season. “Overall I’m happy with the result”, he said, “but it was a little At the end of the day, both riders are winners for demonstrating the determination and commitment that breeds champions!
