Sunday, 27 April, 2014: YouTube, Chugg Entertainment and Branded Ltd. are delighted to announce the launch of YouTube FanFest, an exclusive live showbringing together established and rising YouTube stars from Australia and around the world with fans.

YouTube FanFest Sydney is an exclusive live show presenting YouTube‘s biggest stars, local internet sensations and young talent. The event occurs on Saturday, 31 May 2014 at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.
YouTube FanFest allows fans the unique opportunity to see their internet heroes live in the person. The show features an exciting and hilarious mix of music, comedy, fashion, education, dancing, and beauty all together on one stage.

Michael Chugg, CEO of Chugg Entertainment said, “I have been promoting live shows for more than 50 years and I am constantly excited by new opportunities that are becoming a part of the touring landscape. YouTube FanFest is the perfect example of that – it’s a completely unique concept and provides a live platform for talent that fans could previously only interact with online. I love the fact that we can bring these online superstars to life in front of their Australian fans, it’s going to be a huge day!”
“We’re thrilled to be able to take the YouTube FanFest around Asia Pacific in 2014. This is a genuinely global platform that showcases some of Australia’s finest up and coming creative talent to the world, and let’s not forget Sydney’s awesome fans!” said Jasper Donat, President, Music Matters & CEO, Branded Ltd.
To make this day even more memorable there will be the chance to get up close and personal with the stars with promotions run by the YouTubers themselves. Exciting, right? And the YouTubers are in the starting-blocks: “I am so looking forward to showing Sydney some awesome, mind-bending science at FanFest!” says Veritasium.
“I can’t wait to come to beautiful Sydney for the YouTube FanFest to see all my amazing Aussie motavators in person! I hear the shopping and food in Sydney is awesome just can’t wait for this show!” said Bethany Mota.
